Enon is John Schmersal of Brainiac, and Rick Lee and Steve Calhoon of Skeleton Key. Enon is named after a small town in Ohio, microwave manufacturer, or vacation resort in eastern Alabama (Schmersal can't decide). Using an abundance of samples, crackling vinyl, processed vocals, and poor, defenseless signals distressed beyond recognition, Enon crafts surprisingly melodic songs built with layer upon layer of noise, samples and keen musicianship.
