In October 2004, The Neville Brothers released "Walkin’ In the Shadow of Life," marking 25 years together as a band. Tough, gritty and savagely funky, "Walkin' in the Shadow of Life" marks a turn in the road for the Brothers with the addition of Aaron’s son, Ivan, on keyboards and vocals and Art’s son, Ian, on guitar. A true family effort powered by a thick blast of funk and soul, the result is without a doubt one of their truest and most direct recordings.
