Blue Merle’s debut album, “Burning in the Sun” on Island Def Jam, released February 15, is generating radio play throughout the US. Guitar, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass and drums isn’t typical rock band instrumentation, but that’s turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Blue Merle. One of the most unique sounds of 2005.
