"Sharq" is a new Uzbek folk music group, but its members are each
well-known artists, with several receiving Gold Records for previous
recordings. All members have toured internationally and are recognized
for their artistry and mastery on their respective instruments,
including doira, karnay, surnay, nay and nogora.
