Missy Higgins is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Her music is unadorned and unforgettable.

Much of Missy's acclaimed debut album, "The Sound Of White", was written while she was backpacking around Europe. It was produced by John Porter (Ryan Adams, The Smiths, Los Lonely Boys) and mixed by Jay Newland (Norah Jones). The disc was released in Australia following tours with John Butler Trio, The Waifs and The Finn Brothers. It debuted at #1 and was certified quadruple platinum after only four months.

Missy will be touring North America and Europe with Ray Lamontagne in March and April. "The Sound Of White" will be released in North America in May by Reprise.
