Mike Doughty returns May 3 with "Haughty Melodic," his ATO Records debut, featuring the anthemic single "Looking at the World from the Bottom of a Well" and a duet with Dave Matthews on "Tremendous Brunettes." The founder and frontman of Soul Coughing, which disbanded in 2000, has spent the last five years touring as a singer-songwriter, self-releasing three acclaimed solo CDs.
