Blending the sounds of country, folk and bluegrass, Caroline Herring won the 2001-2002 Austin Music Awards Best New Artist award. During a two-year happy hour stint at Stubbs BBQ, Herring released her first album, ‘Twilight’ (2001), and followed it with ‘Wellspring’ (2003). She has played at the Newport Folk Festival and Seattle’s Bumbershoot, and will play this spring at Merlefest and Suwanee Springfest.
