The Living Blue

The Living Blue, formerly known as The Blackouts, have been writing, performing, and recording music together for the past 6 years. In 2001 the band signed to a small independent label out of Chicago and released two records. The first in 2002, Everyday is a Sunday Evening and the second in 2004, Living in Blue. Over the past year the bands music was used in the WB's One Tree Hill, thus garnering attention from Chicago Indie label Minty Fresh Records. The band recently signed with Minty Fresh and are currently preparing a follow up to Living in Blue. With an intense, passionate live show and a knack for sonic devilery, the Living Blue play their interpretation of 60's/70's psych R&B with an artistic quality. Alternative Press gave their 2004 release, Living in Blue, a 5 out of 5 rating in their February issue.
