Austin's sweetest power pop/punk band, The Sweethearts, have a contagious enthusiasm and a dynamite female singer. Deeply influenced by the Ramones, songs are rockin' and catchy. They are young, full of gusto, and hell-bent on cranking it up and blasting it. Their debut album, "L.U.V", sounds like the studio album the Go-Go's could have made back in 1979.
