Forming less than a year ago, Wolfmother's Self-titled debut EP is like Sabbath and Zeppelin were cryogenically frozen but took a knowledge pill and were thawed in 2004. It’s like Kyuss but all slowed down and fucked up and with odd but somehow right time changes and bold as chord shifts. But it’s different. It’s no throwback or pastiche or parody, but sounds fresh and exciting, a celebration of love for the music. |
