The Lackloves' sound is built upon the solid melodic foundation laid by Lennon's Beatles, Davies' Kinks, and Townshend's Who. Formed in Milwaukee by Mike Jarvis and Bob Eickhoff after the demise of 90's super pop band The Blow Pops, The Lackloves are all about inventive licks, catchy melodies, soaring harmonies and the big chorus. Careful of the “retro” tag, The Lackloves interpret the classic pop sound with their own signature flavor and energy. Star City Baby is evidence of this foursomes’ command of the genre: melodic pop with a souped-up engine.
