The UK's New Model Army are a classic modern cult band. Formed in 1980 by Justin Sullivan - inspired by early Punk and Northern Soul, they have never lost the ability to thrill, to change and to challenge, and remain central to the lives of legions of fans spread around the world.

With a singles collection (Superfecta Recordings) and recent catalogue (Redeye Distribution) currently in store, and a brand new studio album on the table, this SXSW show is part of the full band's first US tour for 12 years.

Even the band's anagram, "Raw Melody Men", is entirely fitting!
