The Chris Vestre Group is an Austin-based quartet with vibes, bass, drums and guitar. Chris writes original tunes that groove, swing and bossa. An 8-month stint at Tambaleo fomented the current lineup of Chris Maresh (bass), Aaron Lack (vibes) and Jon Greene (drums). The group continues to grow together along with Chris’s compositional skills. Chris favors a group sound – band members support one another as soloists and an accompanists.
The new album, “Jazz Camp” was recorded late in 2004 and features all original tunes written by Chris. |
