1999, Hiroshi Nakamura started his solo project under the name of 'i-dep' in London.

His talent scored a gig as a session musician with Gota Yashiki, a project known as 'soul 2 soul'.

On the other hand, he also worked on several fashion shows as a music director, such as London and Tokyo collection.

2003, He produced the compilation album 'Stereo Latina' for Italian lable IRMA.
Around this time, Nakamura had a turning point by meeting a group of four talented musicians, who had fresh ideas for his music.
Since working with this new group, his approach on music stated to shift from solo to ensemble, the band 'i-dep' was born.

A fusion of Latin, Techno, Electronica, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Hip-hop, 'i-dep' blends warm textures of sounds with a humor.

2004, i-dep contributed a track 'child seat' for IRMA records(Italy), a series of popular compilation album 'mondo La Douce'. It was followed by a world wide release 12 inch single 'rustlica'. First original album 'meeting point' was released on July 2004.
