Raised in the wings of the Grand Ole Opry, by songwriter, producer Buddy Cannon, a giant himself in Nashville. Mel began singing on recordings when she was just fourteen. On her debut self-titled album, Melonie Cannon, delivers a rare blend of down-home soul and uptown professionalism.
