After a two-and-a-half-year absence, Kent, Ohio’s the Six Parts Seven have returned to reclaim rock’n’roll. To have at all the hearts and minds and ears willing to have them. With Everywhere and Right Here they have created an album about immediacy and, to a degree, about love. About how things - relationships, adventures, ideas even - begin, or rather how they feel in the beginning. How it feels to be actualized by someone or because of something. How the threshold is the place to pause. This music is political and emotional, powerful and subtle, urgent and pensive. It’s seven core musicians reacting to the sounds and life that surround them. How simple is that? Listening, too, is a form of creation.
