In 1991, the 4 girls gathered to start the band " noodles" .
They begin performing their shows in Yokohama.
In 1995, they released their 1st album "JYURYOKU DOROBO" from the Benten Label.
And in the same year, they wrote and performed a song for a CM of coka-cola.
This song became a great hit, played on the FM radios all over Japan.
In 1999, they moved to "DELICIOUS LABEL", which Yamanaka Sawao of the pillows owns,
and puts their efforts in making cds and doing shows. noodles have done the Japan tour
for 6 times.
And in March 2003, they performed an opening act for The Breeders, which they respect,
in Osaka. The same year, they start their move in overseas.
In October they performed in CMJ Music Marathon.
Now 2004, they performed at SXSW on Japan Girls Night and goes on to their first US tour.
This September, the guitar leaves the band but the cute funny voice of Yoko and the tightness
of the 3 piece band still made the best girls band in Japan.
They have already began their recording as this new 3 piece band and willing to release an
album in next spring.
