Following their debut in February 2004 and one year of high-profile, intense performances, the Atlanta rock trio Hot Young Priest makes its first appearance at SXSW.
This is white-hot rock just barely skimming the rails and very nearly flying off. Here and there, it’s stark, spare, and ragged. Lots of times, it’s thunderous.
The band recorded their critically acclaimed debut EP, Burning Hot and Free, in the spring of 2004.
