"To find deep roots watching Two Gallants perform live is akin to watching a hundred old musical souls unleashed through the bodies of two choirboys. They are their own sonic exorcists, inspired (but not possessed) by blues, folk and punk forces. But their sound is their own, and members Adam Stephens and Tyson Vogel have been bravely delivering it to house parties, pool halls and passers-by at San Francisco BART stations since they were 21. Their debut record,"The Throes" is out now on Alive Records.
