Each March SXSW Music presents new opportunities to make your vision reality. Musicians and the companies they work with have used SXSW as a cost-effective way to promote themselves since 1987. Showcase At SXSW Music 2006?

Look on this website in August for information on everything you need to know (and then some) about applying for a SXSW Music Festival showcase slot. You'll find details on what sort of materials we need from you ('keep it simple' is our motto), entry fees, etc., as well as a handy online application form. We will start accepting applications September 1st, with a final deadline in early November. Pay attention to the early deadline and get a discount on the entry fee. Online applications also receive a discount online.

SXSW PLAYER: A POPULAR NEW FEATURE

The SXSW Music Player V.05 is a new and exciting way to explore the sights and sounds of SXSW 2005. You can listen to a continuous stream of all the acts, and the player will show you who you are listening to and give you a link to their band page. You can also use the quick search field to find a particular band and listen to just their track. We hope you have as much fun as we have been having with it.
