Five years in the making, "The Aggressives" features six women who define themselves as 'Aggressives' Ð members of a burgeoning yet secret inner-city lesbian subculture. X-rated strip shows at lesbian 'balls," 'straight sex' with male-to-female pre-op transsexuals, and life as a butch in boot camp, are just some of the sensational details revealed in film. Beyond the startling content however, a tender and warm portrait of six women struggling to live an unapologetic life according to their own rules of gender identity in the modern world, prevails.
