SXSW Film Conference

"The 2004 SXSW Film Conference and Festival drew large audiences and praise from locals as well as visiting industry and filmmakers alike." indieWIRE

"SXSW offers more than good movies in Austin." Variety

A big part of every SXSW Festival are the panels held at the Austin Convention Center. Leaders of the film industry meet to discuss the current issues of the business to an audience of badgeholders. There are also one-on-one mentor sessions and mini-meetings to offer even greater insight into select topics.

The panels at SXSW have been hailed as some of the most extensive and educational forums found in a festival setting. The business and art of making films come together in a unique environment only SXSW could provide. Register for your SXSW badge today, and save!

Al FrankenAuthor, talk radio pundit, comedian, actor, and potential U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken (pictured here in a photo by Bill Hayward) will participate in a one-on-one conversation with Evan Smith of Texas Monthly from 3:30 - 4:15 pm on Monday afternoon, March 14th. This session will be open to SXSW Film and Interactive conference registrants, as well as Gold and Platinum badge wearers. Register now to attend SXSW 2005.
