SXSWclick 2005 Winners

We are proud to announce the winners of the 2005 SXSWclick Festival!! The winners of the Jury Prize and the People's Choice Award will both be included in a shorts program at SXSW 2006.

Thousands of people cast their votes online and our jury included: Lisa McWilliams (Exec. Dir. The Mobile Film School), Jason Meil (SVP Original Programming & Acquisitions, Current TV), Kelly Sanders (Magnolia Pictures), and Jason Wishnow (Wishnow.com). Thanks to our distinguished jury and the many audience members who voted!!

Current, the new cable network launched by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, is the official television partner for SXSWclick. Current will help promote the festival through its web site and award an undetermined amount of Reel Current awards. The Reel Current award is given to aspiring filmmakers, and the recipient of these awards will have their pieces air on the Current network after it starts broadcasting on August 1.
